Shahrukh Khan apologizes to the media for being late

Shahrukh Khan is a brand ambassador – yet again. And the latest firm to sign him up is internet giant Google. King Khan has agreed to promote its new social networking site, Google Plus along with his upcoming film RA.One. As part of the tie-up, Shahrukh will join Google Plus and participate in a live chat on the site, using the Hangouts feature over the next couple of weeks. On its part, Google will promote RA.One through not only Google Plus but also through YouTube – with behind the scenes videos, streaming of the premiere and other events across the globe, and various contests. In fact, a first-of-its-kind video about RA.One is already up on YouTube. Shahrukh is reportedly very excited about getting a chance to create a platform where his fans from all over the world can engage with his film. But whether Shahrukh’s charisma is enough to convince even a part of his mega fan following into becoming Google Plus users – so that the Internet giant can defeat Facebook – remains to be seen.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently occupied with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Ra.one’ will not host any party for Paris Hilton, who is on a four-day visit to India.

“I am busy with ‘Ra.one’…so it is little difficult for me to do it (to host the party). Some friends were planning to host a party. But since I could not make for the party then they said…let it be. So we are not hosting it now,” Shahrukh told reporters here last evening.Paris, who arrived on Saturday, will be in the city till September 27 and is scheduled to meet several B-town celebrities during her stay after launching her collection.

There was a buzz that SRK would host a party for Paris. He has earlier organised welcome bashes for many international celebrities like Akon, Hugh Jackman and Gerald Butler among others.
